Ex Royal Marine, PTI is raising Money by attempting to complete the Tour de Mont Blanc in 48hrs, 170KMS distance and 9000M of ascent and descent!

7hrs 50minutes into his challenge and 4hrs ahead of his proposed schedule!

Si and Jen Conroy: Si is a retired Royal Marine physical training instructor who has moved into outdoor coaching and guiding for a living... After more than 22 years in the Royal Marines, then contracts working with the British military he now guides for EXODUS in the French Alps throughout the summer, and plays on his skis most of the winter in Switzerland.... On the 8-10th September 2013 Si is going to run the tour de Mont Blanc (170kms, 9000m ascent), none stop, aiming for as close to 48hours as possible... This will raise money for the education of young Kenyan girls and in particular maybe sponsoring one child throughout a western education if possible... This is in memory of our sister-in-law Fiona who was Kenyan, sponsored through her education, and worked as the first foreign secretary for science and innovation for GB out in Brazil..... Please help us support another to follow Fiona's footsteps....
