As we await news of Rose and Elizabeths school results, we have a short film of what Jalia charity does and can continue to do with ongoing support….

Jalia is a Swahili word meaning 'empathise' or 'empower'. We are a small grassroots charity established in 2010 to provide support for underpriviliged children and communities in Nanyuki, Kenya. 

We believe that all children have the right to an education so that they are better able to empower themselves in the future.
